Kentucky Wesleyan College’s Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts is an interdisciplinary online degree completion program that emphasizes the knowledge and abilities most demanded in today’s society: oral and written communication, critical thinking, analytical problem solving, technology, and global awareness. The Liberal Arts program offers students the flexibility to tailor a personalized course of study that aligns with their intellectual interests and career goals. Students in the Liberal Arts program will work with their advisor to create a degree plan and course of study.

Core Requirements

Students must select two (2) concentration areas from the approved concentration options. A minimum of fifteen (15) credit hours must be taken in each concentration area, of which at least six (6) credit hours in each area must be 300- or 400-level courses.
Students must complete a combined total of thirty-six (36) credit hours across their two concentration areas (15 hours in Area 1, 15 hours in Area 2, and 6 hours of concentration electives from either Area 1 or Area 2).
Students must complete a four (4) credit hour Capstone course (such as IDS 402 Senior Paper in Interdisciplinary Studies or an approved senior seminar/project in one of the selected concentration areas).

Students choose two (2) concentration areas from the following approved areas of study. Coursework within each concentration area should be aligned with the suggested subjects listed below:
